Guide to Operating Twitter and Requests

Okura Hotels & Resorts* manages a Twitter account in accordance with the following policy. Please read and understand these terms before joining us on Twitter.

Tweets

We use Twitter as a tool for "casual" communication with our customers. The "Okura Tweets" we post from time to time invite you to get to know us better and ask you to share your thoughts. We look forward to hearing from you, so please feel free to send us your tweets.

Replies and Inquiries

We commit to responding to as many @Replies and Direct Messages (DM) as possible. However, kindly note that some may be overlooked and not all can be replied to.
Please send reservation requests and inquiries that require a response via our inquiries form.

Tweets vs. Hotel Services

"Okura Tweets" are intended to be "casual" communication. They are managed under a policy separate from the hotel's, and hence their service standards are different from those designed for hotel guests.

Following Us on Twitter

We welcome you to "follow" us on Twitter and will actively follow you back. However, due to the limitations on one-way following, kindly note that in the case that you "UN-follow" us, we may also un-follow you.

Tweets vs. Official Releases and Views

Not all "Okura Tweets" are based the hotel's official releases or views. For official information, please refer to our transmissions in the form of press releases.

*The following Hotel Okura group companies and facilities also observe this policy: Aoyama Diamond Hall, Hotel Okura Enterprise, and Hotel Okura’s Restaurant Nagoya.
